Media Credential Guidelines
NICSA invites qualified media to attend the General Membership Meeting.

How can I obtain media credentials?
If you are employed as a reporter, editor, producer, camera crew, still photographer, or industry analyst, you can obtain press credentials by providing valid identification. Exceptions must be approved by NICSA.

To obtain your press badge for a NICSA conference, send an email to with:

  • Your name
  • Your organization’s name
  • Your title
  • Your email
  • Your phone number
  • The specific conference you would like to attend

NOTE: Media credentials are good for the specific event for which you are applying. You will need to reapply for subsequent conferences. Members of the media must wear their badges at all times while attending NICSA conferences.

Who is not considered media?
NICSA does not provide media credentials to staff of media advertising, marketing, public relations firms, or similar enterprises.

NICSA reserves the right to grant or deny media credentials to any applicant. Violation of rules related to specific events may result in the suspension or revocation of credentials.

What sessions can I attend?

Press badge holders can attend all keynote sessions and general GMM receptions and events. You cannot attend closed panel sessions. Review the detailed agenda page to see which panel sessions are open and closed to the media.

Members of the media must register to attend the 2019 NICSA General Membership Meeting.
