The Doral offers 90 holes of superb golfing on five championship courses. There's no better way to unwind and meet conference attendees and sponsors than to participate in NICSA's annual tradition. The NICSA Golf tournament will be played on Doral's famous Blue Monster, Red and Gold courses. Following the tournament, prizes will be awarded at the Reception at the 19th Hole. Boxed lunches will be provided.

Golf Tournament Registration
Pre-registration is recommended. A service charge of $150 per golfer will be assessed to defray tournament costs. To register, complete the appropriate section of the Attendee Conference Registration Form online, or print a form.

Tournament Parings
The format will be a scramble, all level of players are welcome!

You may choose your foursome by filling out the Team Request section of the Attendee Conference Registration Form. Please be sure that all of your partners are registered for the conference and that they submit the same pairing request on their form. All other golfers will be assigned foursomes. Please provide actual or estimated handicap to help in creating the teams. Each golfer will receive a team confirmation via email a few days prior to the event.

Note: The field is limited, so act now! Registration forms must be received at NICSA by January 12, 2007.

After the Tournament, take the path to the Spa Grand Terrace and meet at the Reception at the 19th Hole for tournament scores and prizes and to network with the sponsors, exhibitors and conference attendees.

 
 
 
 

Casual Golf Tee Times

Doral’s golf department will accept tee times 60 days prior to a guest’s arrival. NICSA attendees who are registered guests of the Doral Golf Resort and Spa are eligible for a 20% discount on greens fees.

To schedule tee times, please contact the golf department directly at 1-800-71-DORAL. A major credit card will be requested to secure tee times.

Golf Tee Times Cancellations
Should you need to cancel a tee time, please call Doral’s golf department 72 hours prior to your scheduled tee time. Individuals will be responsible for fees associated with tee times not canceled.

Proper Golf Attire
To play on Doral Golf Courses you must wear acceptable attire, which consist of a collared shirt, long pants or walking shorts. T-shirts, tank tops, athletic shorts, cut-offs or jeans are unacceptable. Metal spikes are not allowed. For a fee, the Doral will re-spike golf shoes.

Island Breeze Catamaran Cruise

Set sail aboard the Island Breeze, South Florida's largest (and fastest) sailing yacht, for a two-hour cruise along Florida's Gold Coast. Attendees can relax in the lounge or on the sun deck. Bring your camera to capture the breathtaking views and your encounters with local wildlife, including manatees and dolphins. Time will be allotted for shopping at the Bayside Marketplace Marina before returning to the Doral.

Participants meet at the Doral Resort lobby entrance at 12:45 p.m. Bus will leave at 1:00 p.m. and return to the hotel around 5:00 p.m.

Pre-registration and a fee of $100 is required to reserve your space on the tour. Space is limited, so please pre-register by checking the appropriate box on the Attendee Conference Registration Form. Confirmation of your participation will be available at the NICSA Registration Desk. Spouses and children (accompanied by an adult) are welcome to register for this tour.

Wine Tasting: Travel the World of Cabernet Sauvignon

Join us Tuesday at 3:00 for a fun and informational wine tasting. We will sample cabernets from around the world, including selections from France, Spain, Italy, Chile, Argentina, Washington and the Napa Valley. Snack on cheese and crackers and take in the beautiful view from the outdoor patio at the front door of the Spa at Doral.

Pre-registration and a fee of $40 per person is required to reserve your space. Please pre-register by checking the appropriate box on the Attendee Conference Registration Form. If space permits, registrations will be accepted on site during conference registration hours on Saturday and Sunday, at the NICSA Registration Desk.

Exhibit Hall

Focus on the latest in product innovation and new technology from the industry’s leading service providers in NICSA's exhibit hall—the Hub of the Conference. A marketplace of new products and fresh ideas, the exhibit hall is also the primary conference eating, drinking, and meeting spot at Doral. Beginning with a kick-off cocktail reception on Sunday evening, the exhibit hall will be open during extended breaks between sessions and for three continental breakfasts, one buffet luncheons, and two cocktail receptions.
