Meet the Nicsa Team

Nicsa President & CEO

Jim Fitzpatrick

Jim Fitzpatrick is the President and CEO of Nicsa, a global asset management trade association with a mission of connecting industry participants in order to advance leading practices. Jim joined Nicsa in 2015 with 30 years of experience in senior leadership roles within the asset management industry.

Working closely with the Board of Directors, Jim has set the strategic direction of Nicsa, which includes the launch of the Diversity Project North America in late 2018. The Diversity Project promotes an inclusive asset management industry and seeks to achieve diversity across all dimensions through collaborative leadership from senior business executives.

Previously, Jim was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management with responsibilities that included senior leadership in both global operations and global sales roles during his career. In addition, he served as an officer of the Goldman Sachs Funds for fourteen years and served as an Independent Trustee for the Hays Series Trust until December 2017. Jim began his career with The Boston Company and later First Data Investor Services Group, a subsidiary of the surviving entity, First Data Corporation, where he held several senior management positions during his tenure.

Lilly Bahmani

Lilly Bahmani is Senior Manager, Administration & Data Management and Executive Assistant to Nicsa's President & CEO. Prior to her current role, Lilly was Meetings and Events Manager at Nicsa. Before joining Nicsa, Lilly spent five years in the hospitality industry as an Event and Communications Coordinator. Lilly is a graduate of West Virginia University with a B.S. in Psychology.

Vice President, Sales and Member Engagement

Anne De May

Anne De May is Vice President of Sales & Member Engagement at Nicsa. Anne joined Nicsa with over 30 years of experience in the asset management industry. Her current role focuses on building and enhancing Nicsa’s relationships with prospective and existing members. Prior to joining Nicsa, Anne served in various senior roles at leading broker dealer, mutual fund and investment management organizations including Carnegie Capital Management, Stein Roe & Farnham and Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Anne’s career includes oversight of internal operations, retail sales desk and customer support, product support, and retail and institutional call center operations. Most recently, Anne served as Senior Vice President, Strategic Account Management at Morningstar, Inc. responsible for Morningstar’s key strategic relationships.

Vice President, Digital Content

Jeff Lamoreaux

Jeff Lamoreaux is Vice President of Digital Content for Nicsa. Jeff joined Nicsa after more than a decade in the Communications and Member Education departments at FINRA, where he helped build a video and podcast production studio and digital content programs from the ground up. In his current role, Jeff partners with Nicsa's content, marketing, and event staff to provide end-to-end production of video and podcast content, from strategy and planning to filming and editing to publishing and marketing. Jeff strives to be a storyteller and communicator first, and gained expertise in digital content production as a tool to share those stories.

Vice President, Content & Communications

Allison Lovett

Allison Lovett is Vice President of Content & Communications for Nicsa. Allison joined Nicsa with over 20 years of communications and content management experience in the asset management industry. In her current role, Allison is responsible for the development of Nicsa's content strategy, the execution of technical content, and oversight of Nicsa's public relations and communications efforts. Prior to joining Nicsa, Allison held various roles at VanEck, where she most recently served as Vice President of Marketing with senior leadership responsibilities in product management, corporate content and communication strategies.

Vice President, Distribution & Broker Dealer Engagement & Head of Diversity Project North America

Justine Phoenix

Justine Phoenix is Vice President of Distribution & Broker Dealer Engagement at Nicsa. Justine joined Nicsa with over 30 years of experience in asset management and intermediary distribution in the areas of relationship and client management, business development and operations. In her current role, Justine is responsible for building and enhancing Nicsa programs that engage and support distribution and BD executives. Before joining Nicsa, she was Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager at Fidelity Investments. In this role, she was head of relationship management for Fidelity FundsNetwork® and was responsible for overseeing all functions related to managing relationships with over 600 asset managers. Prior to joining Fidelity Investments, Justine was Director of Operations for the Investment Company Institute (ICI). In her role, she was responsible for all activities associated with mutual fund operations and distribution, including the Transfer Agent Advisory Committee and the Broker Dealer Advisory Committee. She also held leadership roles at Massachusetts Financial Services and Boston Financial Data Services prior to joining the ICI.

Executive Director, Head of Operations & Events

Kelly Sherrard

Kelly Sherrard is Executive Director, Head of Operations & Events for Nicsa. Kelly is responsible for managing Nicsa conferences and events and serves as liaison to Nicsa event committees. Prior to joining Nicsa, Kelly spent five years in the association industry supporting multiple clients in growing their membership and improving bottom-line performance. Kelly is a graduate of James Madison University with a B.S. degree in Communications.

Vice President, Marketing

Allison Walsh

Allison Walsh is Vice President of Marketing at Nicsa. She joined Nicsa with over ten years of experience in multiple marketing capacities. Allison is responsible for Nicsa's marketing strategy, digital vision, and brand management. Prior to joining Nicsa, Allison was a marketing manager in the EdTech space as well as a Marketing Analyst for investment management firm Loomis, Sayles & Company. Allison is an MBA graduate of D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.
