We have also announced the date of our next virtual event, the Fearless Leadership Symposium, which is set to take place on June 16-17. The symposium will highlight bold business practices that are changing the face of DE&I initiatives and explore how inclusive leadership can enhance productivity, promote growth, and impact the bottom line within the global asset management industry. Stay tuned for more details.

Each year, Nicsa recognizes volunteers who have tirelessly committed to furthering our mission of advancing best practices within the global asset management industry. We are proud to present the Volunteer of the Year Awards to a group of exceptional professionals this year. We thank them for their efforts to support the Nicsa community and the broader industry. Nicsa set off into 2021 with renewed focus on the most pressing topics for our member firms. I’m pleased to share with you a message from Scott Brady, Chairman of the Board of Directors. I am personally excited about Scott’s vision for the Association and I’m sure our members will be as well. Scott’s comprehensive knowledge, industry expertice, and strategic outlook on the asset management industry will serve Nicsa well in 2021 and beyond.

Speaking of topics that matter, Nicsa’s Diversity Project North America is focused on creating working environments where all employees feel valued, respected, and heard. To this end, we have joined forces with EY to help gauge the perception of DE&I within the asset management industry. The Diversity Project 2021 DE&I Perception Survey will identify key DE&I trends, identify gaps, and measure progress as the industry moves forward on the path toward a more inclusive working environment. Your responses are anonymous AND essential: Measuring progress starts with measuring perceptions. Please take a moment to help us gather insightful information that will help drive the industry forward on this important topic.

Please share the application with any colleagues who you believe could benefit from this valuable opportunity. The deadline to apply is May 10, 2021.
