Nicsa Connect Newsletter

Nicsa is pleased to welcome you and your firm to register for our virtual 2021 General Membership Meeting , to be held October 6-8. This year’s agenda is focused on industry innovation and provides a platform for deep discussions around the strategies that will help advance our industry toward sustainable, value-add business models. Candid, transparent discussions will highlight the actionable takeaways that will help our members tackle the business-critical issues that are top of mind for industry executives today. Read the blog .

Here are a few highlights:

  • EDUCATIONAL CONTENT spanning THREE DAYS of virtual events
  • OPEN TO ALL EMPLOYEES of corporate registrants
  • Topics covering ALL FACETS OF THE ASSET MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY, including technology, talent management, product development and distribution, and more

So much is changing across our industry, particularly as employees re-enter the in-person workplace and management evaluates policies, operational models and business strategies in a new normal. It’s critical that all industry participants stay up to date on recent trends and projections, and that diverse perspectives are part of the discussion. We are pleased to create an experience that is accessible by all employees of registrant firms and look forward to seeing you in October. Check our website  to view the agenda and speaker line up.

I’d also like to share that Nicsa’s Diversity Project North America was recently recognized by InvestmentNews as a 2021 Excellence in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Awards finalist . Read the press release . Diversity Project North America was also awarded as Women in Asset Management's DEI Initiative of the Year.

We are honored and humbled to be recognized in these two impactful categories among some of the industry’s leading thought innovators. Our thanks go out to our many and varied committee members who continue to push for progress in DEI best practices across our industry. This recognition is, in large part, due to your steadfast efforts. If you’d like to find out about how your firms can be involved in our journey toward a more inclusive industry, please reach out to me.

Sincerely,

Jim Fitzpatrick
